Two questions:1. Do you have to have a smart phone in order to monitor text and voice calls?

  1. If so, can your smartphone's access to the internet be turned off while still monitoring texting and voice calls? Thanks

Hi... here are my answers to your questions.

1) Do you have to have a smart phone in order to monitor text and voice calls?

>> No, the actual monitoring of text and calls is done by the monitoring software and then uploaded to your online account. You can then log into the account using any internet connected device to read the text messages and view the other data. Now if you're asking if this type of software will only work on smartphones, the answer is YES. You cant install this type of software on a non-smart phone.

2) If so, can your smartphone's access to the internet be turned off while still monitoring texting and voice calls?

>> If you're referring to the person doing the monitoring, you don't need access to the internet other than to check the logs. Now if you're talking about the actual phone that is being monitored, the internet access can be off, but no logs will be sent to your account. However, as soon as the phone gets a data connection, logs will be uploaded to your account.

Hope this answers your questions. If not, let me know.
